First Defect - May 17, 2008

We found the first real construction mistake today. Some of the framing wasn't flush with the concrete foundation wall. At the time, we assumed someone made an honest mistake. Now, months later, we've learned that the general contractor just isn't inspecting the work quality as much as we expect.

Oddly, we thought that there were other defects until we measured and found out that the framing work was perfect! (Lee -- remember how we thought the dining area was too small, or that the plumbing work for the wet bar was off by a foot?? :)
